Job summary

Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka, IL is seeking a Clinic Coordinator to join the rehabilitation services team. The role supports department operations, assists with patient care as needed, and helps manage patient schedules and administrative tasks.

The position is full-time, 30-40 hours per week with a schedule from 8am-4:30pm. Candidates should have a high school diploma and prefer some therapy aide or administrative experience; benefits include 401K and health insurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months experience preferred.
• On the job training or formal therapy aide course or administrative assistant course is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient schedules for clinic, home health, nursing home and hospital rehab patients.
• Answer phones and relay messages in verbal and/or written form.
• Provide patients insurance forms and receive completed forms prior to therapy evaluation.
• Coordinates rescheduling when staff are away from the clinic due to illness, emergency, etc.
• Records treatments administered by staff for billing and disciplinary purposes.
