Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Therapy - Certified Sleep Tech to join our travel-friendly team for a 13-week assignment as a Sleep Technologist (RPSGT). You will perform polysomnographic testing, set up studies, score recordings, and assist physicians with patient care during a night shift.
The ideal candidate has 1+ year polysomnography experience, an active RPSGT license, BLS certification, and Epic experience for charting and documentation.

Description:The Polysomnographic Technologist II sets up and performs polysomnographic testing.The technologist scores studies for physician interpretation.Acts as a training mentor to Polysomnographic Technologist I (Trainee).May analyze data and provide education for customers and family members.Performs intake admission for customers.Distributes and collects customer questionnaires and assessments.Answers customer questions and reviews study procedures.Initiates PAP trial and mask fitting.Performs polysomnographic study.Assures quality and artifact-free recording.Stages and scores events during polysomnographic testing.Scores studies in preparation for physician review and interpretation.Maintains records accurately.Provides pertinent customer information to other technologists during shift change.Provides predetermined information to customers upon discharge.Sets up, downloads and completes Customer MD Recommendation letters for Wrist Ox studies.Sets up, downloads and prints reports for Actigraphy studies.Cleans and disinfects equipment as needed.Triage phone, fax, and emails as appropriate.Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.
