Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks a Certified Sleep Tech to oversee complex sleep studies in our network. The role requires RPSGT registration and BCLS certification, with duties including CPAP/BiPAP titrations and data acquisition across multiple labs.

The technician will generate detailed physician reports, ensure scoring accuracy per guidelines, and support on-the-job training with electronic health record systems in Detroit-area labs, working 7:30 PM–6:30 AM in a 15-week assignment.

Qualifications

• Must be registered as an RPSGT.
• BCLS certification required.
• Experience with sleep center scoring guidelines.
• CPAP/BiPAP titration experience.

Description:Oversee and perform complex procedures and therapeutic interventions, including CPAP and BiPAP titrations.Assist technicians in troubleshooting during challenging data acquisition to ensure high-quality sleep studies.Score and tabulate sleep recordings based on established guidelines, including sleep stages, respiratory events, and limb movements.Generate detailed reports and performance summaries for physician interpretation.Maintain compliance with established standards of conduct.Candidates will receive on-the-job training with electronic health record systems.Work will occur in multiple sleep lab locations based on need.Strong knowledge of sleep center guidelines for scoring is required.Excellent computer skills and experience in sleep study procedures are essential.Troubleshooting skills for equipment and data acquisition are necessary.Candidates should possess knowledge in sleep stage scoring, respiratory event scoring, and limb movement scoring.Compliance with established standards for report generation and sleep reliability scoring is required.Completion of high school diploma or G.E.D. is required; a bachelor's degree with scientific coursework is preferred.
