County of Santa Barbara Health is seeking a Bilingual English/Spanish Therapy Attendant to support infants and children with physical disabilities in the California Children’s Services (CCS) program in Santa Barbara.
The position is part-time (0.75 FTE), Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, in-person. Responsibilities include assisting therapists, transferring patients, documenting treatments, and coordinating with families. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.

We are currently accepting applications to fill one (1) Bilingual English/ Spanish Therapy Attendant position for a CSR 1414*, Part-Time (0.75 FTE) vacancy on the California Children’s Services (CCS) team in Santa Barbara.
NOTE: The schedule for this in-person positions is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Under close supervision, the Therapy Attendant assists professional staff in providing physical and occupational therapy to infants and children with physical disabilities; performs related work as required.
The CCS program provides diagnostic and treatment services, medical case management, and physical and occupational therapy services to children under age 21 years with CCS-eligible medical conditions. CCS is administered as a partnership between county health departments and the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) . Communicate clearly and concisely; lift, carry and pull patients with short and long term disabilities; follow written and oral instructions from multiple staff; keep records; maintain confidentiality; and learn treatments and procedures in physical and occupational therapy.
Candidates must receive a percentage score of at least 70 on the Supplemental Questionnaire Rating assessment to be placed on an employment list. An adjustment may be made to raw scores based on factors listed in Civil Service Rule 6. Those candidates who are successful in the selection process will have their names placed on the employment list for a minimum of three months. At the time the employment list is established, all candidates will receive an email notice of their score on the examination, rank on the employment list, and duration of the employment list.
