Position

Therapy Aide & Driver - Per Diem (As Needed) - Day Neuro Facility

Shift Hours: 7:30am - 5:00pm

Pay rate: $22/hr

About the role

Baylor Rehabilitation is seeking a Therapy Technician to fill our PRN opening at our Day Neuro Facility in Dallas. This role includes rehabilitation driver/tech duties for transportation of patients in the company van. No CDL required. A driving record check will be performed. Primary duty is to assist with transportation to the clinic at the beginning of the day and again at the end of the day back to patients’ homes or pickup points. Secondary duties include assisting clinicians with direct patient care under a therapist\'s direction to support comprehensive rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Assistance to clinicians for direct patient care (transferring, toileting)
• Infection control cleaning
• Light equipment maintenance
• Driving routes to transport patients to and from clinic
• Assistance to front desk for light clerical tasks
• Setting up patients on therapeutic activities
• Facilitating exercise groups
• Other duties as assigned
