Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Dallas, TX is seeking a Therapy Technician for a PRN/inpatient role. Responsibilities include assisting therapists with patient care, preparing and guiding activities, and supporting front desk tasks.

Qualifications

• Duties include assisting clinicians with direct patient care (transferring, toileting) and supporting rehab sessions.
• Infection control cleaning and light equipment maintenance.
• Provide transportation support to move patients to and from the clinic as needed.
• Assist front desk with light clerical tasks and patient setup for activities.
• Facilitate exercise groups and other assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

Baylor Rehabilitation is seeking a Therapy Technician to fill our PRN opening at our Inpatient Facility in Dallas! Seeking rehabilitation tech for the inpatient setting. Job duties include rehabilitation tech in working with patients under a therapists' directions to help provide comprehensive rehabilitation. Duties include assistance to clinicians for direct patient care (transferring, toileting), infection control cleaning, light equipment maintenance, driving routes to transport patients to and from clinic, assistance to front desk for light clerical tasks, setting up patients on therapeutic activities, facilitating exercise groups, and other duties as assigned. Candidate must be hard working, thrive in a fast-paced environment, friendly, energetic, able to multi-task, adaptable, and eager to learn and contribute to a positive team. Must have a valid driver's license.

• One or more years of hospital experience as therapy aide preferred.
• BLS Certification or completion within 90 days of hire
