Job summary

Sacramento Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is seeking an Adjunctive Therapist to plan and lead structured therapy activities for geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients. The role works with the interdisciplinary treatment team to support psychological, emotional, or substance abuse care.

Responsibilities include conducting group and individual sessions, developing activity therapy plans, documenting progress, and assisting with discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a certification in music, art, or recreation therapy.
• One year experience in a health care field with emphasis in activities and/or recreational therapy.
• Current CPR Certification and NCI equivalent as approved by leadership.

Responsibilities

• Conducts group and individual activity sessions using arts, movement, or recreation therapies.
• Develops and implements activity therapy treatment plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Document patient progress and contribute to discharge planning.
• Perform related duties and uphold service standards.
