Job summary

Stone Crest is seeking an Activity Arts Therapist to support recovery through therapeutic activities. The role involves planning and leading groups using recreation, expressive therapies, and structured activities to enhance well-being and self-expression.

Requires Bachelor’s in Therapeutic Recreation or related field, CTRS/MT-BC/ATR credentials or in progress, plus CPR and de‑escalation certification. Join a team focused on compassionate care and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Complete activity assessment through patient observation and patient/family interview to inform treatment plans.
• Plan and implement activities within the treatment program to support patient progress toward goals.
• Lead activity sessions and therapeutic leisure activities to improve well-being.
• Instruct patients in activities and techniques across arts and movement therapies.
• Develop treatment plans and interventions to meet patient needs and goals.
• Engage patients in therapeutic activities and monitor social skills development.
• Modify activities to suit different groups and maintain professional conduct.
