Comprehensive Life Resources seeks a qualified Therapist to join the WISe team in downtown Tacoma, WA. The role involves delivering community-based mental health services to WISe-enrolled youth and families, participating in intensive services teams and crisis support rotations.

Applicants should have a Master’s in social/behavioral sciences and a WA credential. Travel to client sites is required; compensation includes annual salary plus shift differentials and stipends.

WISe Team Therapist$31.53 - $49.45Additional compensation may include shift differentials, stipends and/or longevity pay.Full TimeSchedule: Monday through Friday; flexibility within program hours of 7am to 7pmComprehensive Life Resources is looking for a qualified Therapist to join our WISe team (formally known as Child Welfare) team in downtown Tacoma, WA.We Offer - Medical, Dental, and Vision with 100% paid premiums for employees. 11 paid holidays, 403(b)-retirement plan, Life Insurance, Long term Disability, Employee Assistance Program (up to 6 consultations per year), Mileage reimbursement, Tuition Assistance, Paid Sick leave and Vacation, Bereavement Leave, Student Loan Repayment, and Continuing Education Assistance. All benefits contingent on working a scheduled 40hrs a week.ScopeA provider and resource for the WISe team. Provide community based mental health services to a WISe enrolled youth or young adult. Serve as a member of the intensive services team that collaborates to support youth, young adults and families. Participate in the rotation of the off-hours crisis phone to support clients (compensation provided) and provide crisis support to youth and families. This position requires driving to and transporting clients based on program needs.ResponsibilitiesEstablish rapport, assess and diagnose mental health disorders for all assigned clients within scope of credential.Develop and implement a whole person, collaborative treatment plan with client and other treatment team members (when relevant).Provide individual, group, family therapy, and/or education therapy services as indicated by a client’s treatment needs.Respond to clinical crises through assessment, intervention, safety planning and case consultation.Document clinical work in a timely fashion and according to program standards, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes and discharge summaries.Attend treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and designated staff training and consultation sessions as assigned.Ensure that ethical and professional standards of practice are maintained by following all CLR policies and seeking regular consultation.Actively participate in clinical supervision and training for continued professional growth.Competencies:Understands and respects diverse backgrounds and a commitment to culturally competent practicePromotes whole health care as a key to people’s recovery and quality of life.Demonstrates ethical decision-making skills and appropriate boundaries.Ability to receive and apply consultation and feedback, is accountable, and contributes to a positive work environment.Develops and maintains a self-care plan, seeks supervision when needed and recognizes signs of burnout.Able to meet weekly client service provisions (hours of service).Ability to complete paperwork within required timeframes, meeting content requirements.Promote whole health care as a key to people’s recovery and quality of life.Master’s degree in social or behavioral sciences.Mental health professional (MHP) credential preferredStrong understanding of DSM-V and proficient knowledge of therapeutic interventionsProficiency in using Evidenced Based Practices (EBPs) such as CBT (especially CBT-P), ACT, and MI preferredWA State credential/license.
