Job summary

Avivo seeks a Therapist Trainee, Community Based (Part-time) to provide therapeutic services to individuals and families while receiving supervision in a collaborative setting. This role emphasizes trauma-informed, client-centered care and coordination with community resources in Minneapolis.

The position requires a Master's degree in a mental health field and active licensure pursuit (LPCC/LMFT/LICSW). 20 hours weekly, afternoons/evenings, with supervision and travel within the community.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a mental health field.
• Actively pursuing LPCC/LMFT/LICSW licensure.
• Experience delivering direct behavioral health services.
• Knowledge of diagnostic assessment and treatment planning.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Part-time schedule: 20 hours per week, afternoons/evenings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy.
• Deliver trauma-informed, person-centered care.
• Perform crisis assessments and stabilization.
• Coordinate with medical providers, schools, and community resources.
• Maintain compliant clinical documentation.
