Sheppard Pratt is seeking a licensed mental health professional to provide individual and group therapy at the Thought Disorders Day Hospital in Towson, MD. The role emphasizes compassionate care for adults with thought disorders, with no evening or weekend hours required.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, delivering evidence-based therapy including CBT and DBT, and participate in family meetings and care planning as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess one of Maryland licenses at time of hire (LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, LCPC).
• Experience with thought disorders and adult day hospital settings preferred.
• No evening or weekend hours required.

Description

The Adult Day Hospital at Sheppard Pratt offers a continuum of services for individuals experiencing mood and thought disorders such as schizophrenia and substance-induced psychosis.

What to expect.

You will provide compassionate care to individuals experiencing thought disorders. No evening or weekend hours are required.

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Offering supportive counseling and monitoring progress towards treatment goals.
• Collaborating with treatment team members to communicate patient progress and contribute to treatment planning and aftercare planning processes.
• Participating in family meetings and collaborative care sessions as needed to support holistic patient care.

What we need from you.

• Must possess one of the following Maryland licenses at time of hire:
  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
  • Licensed Certified Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C)
  • Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)

The pay range for this position is $32/hourly - $40/hourly. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, license and years and level of related experience.
