Sheppard Pratt’s Towson campus provides compassionate, comprehensive mental health care to patients of all ages on inpatient units. You will deliver dedicated treatment across multiple units, maintaining continuity of care and addressing diverse patient needs.

The role requires a Master’s in Social Work and Maryland licensure (LMSW/LCSW-C/LGPC/LCPC). You will work with a multidisciplinary team, participate in family meetings, and engage in ongoing education and licensure support.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a school accredited by the CSWE.
• Must possess Maryland licenses at time of hire: LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, or LCPC.

Sheppard Pratt’s Towson campus offers compassionate, comprehensive mental healthcare to patients of all ages with a variety of diagnoses and concerns.

What to expect.

You will provide compassionate care across various inpatient units at Sheppard Pratt’s Towson campus, ensuring continuity of care and addressing the needs of our patients.

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Offering supportive counseling and monitoring progress towards treatment goals.
• Collaborating with treatment team members to communicate patient progress and contribute to treatment planning and aftercare planning processes.
• Participating in family meetings and collaborative care sessions as needed to support holistic patient care.

What we need from you.

• Master’s degree from a school accredited by the Council of Social Work Education.
• Must possess one of the following Maryland licenses at time of hire:
  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
  • Licensed Certified Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C)
  • Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
