Job summary

AltaPointe Health Systems in Alabama seeks a Program Director to direct and organize program activities, write narratives, contracts, procedures and grants in a timely manner, and establish program goals aligned with the organization's strategic plan.

You will lead planning, development and implementation, monitor staff productivity and crisis intervention coverage, collaborate with other coordinators, and promote treatment teams while maintaining ethics, privacy and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a mental health discipline with at least two years post-master's experience.
• Must be 23 years of age or older.
• Must have valid driver's license with liability insurance.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating programs.

Responsibilities

• Directs and organizes program activities.
• Writes program narratives, contracts, procedures and grants in a timely manner.
• Establishes program goals and objectives that support the organization's strategic plan.
• Assures that program standards and objectives are met.
• Leads program planning, development and implementation.
• Identifies problems, evaluates alternatives and implements effective solutions.
• Monitors division contracts and budget.
• Monitors case loads and productivity of staff.
• Ensures that staff provides coverage for crisis intervention.
• Effectively collaborates with other AltaPointe program coordinators and outside sources.
• Promotes the concept of treatment teams. Acts as a memeber of the treatment team.
• Provides staff with consultation and supervision as needed, individually or through group staff meetings.
• Seeks clinical supervision and consultation as needed.
• T treats consumers with care, dignity and compassion.
• Respects consumer's privacy and confidentiality.
