Job summary

Mainspring Recovery is a mission-driven behavioral health organization delivering care across Residential, PHP, and IOP levels. We support individuals and families through recovery with a strong emphasis on safe, structured environments and high standards of practice.

We seek a dedicated Therapist to work with clients 18+ in a full-time, on-site role in Dumfries, VA. The position features an 8:00am–4:30pm schedule Monday–Friday, with supervision by Clinical Director and leadership staff to

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred in addictions, social work, mental health or related field.
• Licensure in relevant field preferred (LPC/LCSW/LMFT/LSATP or supervised).
• Experience with EMR systems for clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Complete intake assessments following pre-assessment.
• Develop individualized service and treatment plans.
• Present clients in treatment team meetings.
• Conduct individual counseling sessions.
• Facilitate didactic lectures, client groups, and other therapeutic activities.
• Maintain contact with involved individuals in client care.
• Collaborate with Case Management and interdisciplinary team members.
• Support discharge planning and referral coordination.
• Meet documentation requirements for accreditation, licensing, and billing.
