Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers in Lake Worth, FL is seeking a compassionate Therapist to join our on-site team. The role serves individuals navigating substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders across detox, residential, and PHP settings.

Reporting to the Clinical Director, you will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, provide individual, group, and family therapy, document records, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant human services field.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission standards and confidentiality regulations.
• Commitment to ethical clinical practice and healthcare ethics.
• Ability to work with patients with complex clinical needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy across substance use and mental health tracks for co-occurring disorders.
• Conduct comprehensive ASAM and psychosocial assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with the treatment team.
• Document and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Lead process groups and participate in clinical reviews.
• Coordinate with referral sources, families, and external supports.
• Develop aftercare plans and connect patients with resources.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment as needed.
• Build rapport while maintaining professional boundaries.
