Job summary

Intuit Inc. seeks a licensed mental health therapist to support clients with substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions. You will diagnose, treat, and monitor progress while collaborating with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.

The role emphasizes individual, group, and family therapy using CBT/DBT and other modalities, with a focus on ethical practice and confidentiality in a recovery-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in clinical therapy with diverse populations.
• Specialized training in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with electronic health records and case management documentation.
• Cultural competency and sensitivity in dealing with clients from various backgrounds.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and provide effective crisis intervention.
• Master's degree in mental health counseling, social work, or related field.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent state licensure.
• Minimum of two years of supervised clinical experience.
• Knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and ethical guidelines.
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using therapeutic assessment tools and techniques.
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial consultations and mental health assessments.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, or family therapy sessions.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and others.
• Monitor and document client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and coping strategies.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in psychotherapy.
• Offer crisis intervention and emergency counseling as needed.
• Participate in continuous professional development and supervision.
