Crossroads Health in Mentor, OH is seeking a licensed SUD Therapist to provide individual, family and group therapy to youth and adults. You will perform diagnostic assessments, crisis intervention and case management within our office setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

With a trauma-informed approach, you will represent the organization delivering integrated behavioral and recovery services in Northeast Ohio.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required or Master’s degree preferred.
  • Two years of experience in substance use and mental health (preferred).
  • LSW/LPC or LPCC/LISW/LICDC (substance use only) licensure options listed.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Crossroads Health, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with facilities located in Mentor, Painesville, and Cleveland, serves Northeast Ohio communities with comprehensive behavioral and primary integrated healthcare, early childhood services, extended housing and recovery services—no matter one’s ability to pay. Our mission is to provide hope, healing, and healthcare to everyone.

We are currently seeking an empathic and passionate SUD Therapist to provide individual and family therapy to our youth and adult clients in our Mentor, Lake County office. The Therapist- SUD performs diagnostic assessments and clinical services within the office setting. This position is responsible for individual, family & group counseling along with crisis intervention services and case management. This licensed provider will engage as a member of a collaborative team. With a Trauma informed approach, this position will be a representative for the organization and how we offer integrated services for recovery and mental health.

Education:
  • Level 3: Bachelor’s Degree required or Master’s Degree preferred
  • Level 4: Master’s Degree
Experience:
  • Two (2) years of experience in the substance use and mental health field (preferred)
  • One (1) year experience in working with adolescents, young adults and families/caregivers (preferred)
Licensure/Certifications:
  • Level 3: LSW or LPC, State of Ohio
  • Level 4: LPCC, LISW, LICDC (substance use only)
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Must have an acceptable driving record (4 points or less).
  • BLS/CPR/First Aid (as applicable, company provided)
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
  • Drug Screen, TB Test, Background Check (required)
  • Work in the office with occasional travel for meetings or professional development as dictated by programmatic needs
