Job summary

Crossroads Health in Mentor, Ohio seeks an empathic SUD Therapist to provide individual and family therapy in our Mentor office. The therapist will perform diagnostic assessments, clinical services, crisis intervention, and case management as part of a collaborative team.

This licensed provider will engage with trauma-informed care to support integrated recovery and mental health for Northeast Ohio clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or Master's degree preferred.
• Master’s degree (Level 4) preferred.
• Two years of experience in substance use and mental health (preferred).
• One year experience with adolescents, young adults and families (preferred).
• Ohio licensure: LSW or LPC; LPCC or LISW or LICDC (substance use only).
• Valid Driver's License (required) and clean driving record.
• BLS/CPR/First Aid (as applicable, company provided).

We are currently seeking an empathic and passionate SUD Therapist to provide individual and family therapy to our clients in our Mentor, Lake County office. The Therapist- SUD performs diagnostic assessments and clinical services within the office setting. This position is responsible for individual, family & group counseling along with crisis intervention services and case management. This licensed provider will engage as a member of a collaborative team. With a Trauma informed approach, this position will be a representative for the organization and how we offer integrated services for recovery and mental health.

Education

• Level 3: Bachelor's Degree required or Master's Degree preferred
• Level 4: Master's Degree

Experience

• Two (2) years of experience in the substance use and mental health field (preferred)
• One (1) year experience in working with adolescents, young adults and families/caregivers (preferred)

Licensure/Certifications

• Level 3: LSW or LPC, State of Ohio
• Level 4: LPCC, LISW, LICDC (substance use only)
• Valid Driver's License
• Must have an acceptable driving record (4 points or less).
• BLS/CPR/First Aid (as applicable, company provided)

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Drug Screen, TB Test, Background Check (required)
• Work in the office with occasional travel for meetings or professional development as dictated by programmatic needs
