Job summary

Catholic Charities West Michigan is seeking a Sexual Abuse Prevention Treatment Therapist to provide direct therapy, counseling, and educational services within the Behavioral Health program. This role serves Berrien and Van Buren counties and includes a $5,000 signing bonus split between the first paycheck and after 9 months.

Annual wage range is $55,000–$65,000. The organization emphasizes diversity, professional ethics, and community impact through collaborative service delivery.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology or counseling required.
• Minimum 3 years of therapy experience preferred.
• Michigan certifications or licensure required; NASW ethics expected.
• Spanish-speaking ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides counseling, psycho-educational services, screenings and/or psychotherapy and diagnostic assessments per licensure capacity.
• Coordinates client services.
• Maintains client records.
• Participates in mental health and substance use disorders development activities.
• Drives for Agency business.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor's request.
