Responsibilities
- Perform psychosocial evaluations, documentation, and provide psychotherapeutic interventions tailored to the client's age, background, medical status, and functional ability.
- Document all patient activities promptly according to agency policies and legal standards.
- Complete administrative tasks related to job assignments efficiently.
- Provide psychotherapy to patients, families, and groups; consult with other professionals as needed.
- Participate in clinical reviews and interdisciplinary team sessions for patient assessment, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
- Develop and update treatment plans collaboratively, reflecting the evolving clinical needs.
- Assist in program development, organization, and innovation initiatives.
- Engage in regular supervision and consult with medical directors and colleagues on clinical decisions involving risk.
- Attend seminars and workshops to maintain licensure and participate in training sessions.
- Deliver care adhering to standards of care, patient rights, and confidentiality (e.g., DPH, HIPAA).
- Follow program policies and serve as a resource to staff.
- Support quality improvement activities and demonstrate professional judgment and time management.
- Collaborate within the Revenue Cycle Management process to ensure client account accuracy.
- Respond promptly to credentialing and paneling requests; collaborate on eligibility matters.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Identify process improvements and actively participate in organizational culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Master’s or doctoral degree in a Behavioral Health Field.
- Valid independent license (e.g., PsyD, PhD, LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) in Massachusetts.
- Must pass licensing exams and obtain licensure within specified timeframes if pursuing licensure.
- 2-3 years’ experience in outpatient mental health preferred.
- Proficient in English communication.
Position Details
- 40 hours/week, rotating days, 8 am-4 pm, Mon-Fri, no holidays, occasional weekends, potential evening/weekend expansion.
