We are looking for a Therapist Qualified Mental Health Professional for Kane county (Batavia, St. Charles, Geneva area) who exemplifies that mission and wants to work for an organization that makes a difference.
Therapist QMHP are responsible for the provision of case management and counseling services to both adults and children/adolescents who are diagnosed with persistent mental illness. Services are provided in family and individual treatment settings with both adult and children/adolescents. Services are offered both onsite and, in the community/client home. Therapists are expected to work with a team of service providers within the agency and throughout the social service community to ensure that all needs of clients are met.
Full Time employees.
Education: Master’s degree in a human services field
License/certifications: License preferred (LPC or LSW)
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in behavioral health preferred
Physical: Navigation of stairs on a regular basis; Tolerance of unkempt home conditions of clients
