Job summary

Sycamore Springs, part of Lifepoint Health in Lafayette, IN, seeks a PRN Therapist to deliver individual and group therapy, contribute to treatment planning, and collaborate with physicians, nursing and prevention staff.

Requirements include a master’s in social work or counseling (or valid state licensure), experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients, CPR and CPI within 30 days, and flexibility for variable hours.

Qualifications

• Applicants should have a master's degree in social work or counseling, or relevant state licensure required.
• Prior experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.
• Current unencumbered Clinical OR Social Work license per state of practice guidelines.
• CPR and CPI certified within 30 days of employment.
• May be required to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Displays active involvement in treatment planning process
• Provides family session counseling to all patients to ensure appropriate communication and involvement of family members and support groups
• Actively communicates with clients, families, and outside referral sources
• Works well with the interdisciplinary team including physicians, utilization review and nursing staff members

How You'll Contribute

An Inpatient Therapist who excels in this role:
