Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is a freestanding, 122-bed facility specializing in general adult psych, geriatric, and women's services. Located in southwest Houston, it serves the Houston area and surrounding communities. The hospital is conveniently situated between the Galleria and Meyerland shopping districts, and is minutes from the Houston Medical Center, Downtown, and Midtown. Our continuum of care includes inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services to address symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other behavioral health disorders.

Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is seeking PRN Program Therapists (LMSW/LCSW /LPC) to provide therapeutic services to patients. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an environment that prioritizes patient care, with opportunities for growth, learning, and career advancement.

Key Responsibilities include:

1. Interviewing patients and developing psychological histories.
2. Assessing the therapeutic needs of patients and families.
3. Providing counseling sessions for families, individuals, and groups.
4. Developing appropriate treatment objectives.
5. Preparing monthly treatment summaries.
6. Acting as the primary contact for patients and families during the stay at the facility.
7. Serving as a patient advocate with the treatment team.
8. Collaborating with outside agencies to develop and coordinate discharge planning.
