Job summary

SOAR365 in Richmond, VA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for our Early Intervention program to support infants and toddlers with developmental delays. You will evaluate, plan, and deliver family-centered therapies in the child’s natural environment.

You will collaborate with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team, mentor volunteers and interns, and uphold HIPAA and safety standards while pursuing ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and state licensure are required.

• Ability to use electronic health records (EHRs) and remote monitoring tools.

As a Physical Therapist in our Early Intervention program, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth, mobility, and overall development of infants and young children with developmental delays or disabilities. Key Responsibilities & Duties

In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive early intervention services by conducting evaluations, clinical consultations, and direct therapeutic care that meet quarterly SOAR365 standards. The role demands a deep expertise in infant services and a commitment to maintaining professional certifications while strictly adhering to safety protocols and HIPAA privacy standards. Additionally, the therapist must communicate effectively with families and staff to promote organizational goals and actively mentor volunteers and interns as valuable members of the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements & Qualifications

Qualified candidates must hold at least a Master's degree in their specific therapeutic field and maintain current state licensure. Proficiency in the latest therapeutic techniques is essential, as is the ability to adapt to 2026 technological advancements in healthcare, including electronic health records and remote monitoring tools. Successful applicants will possess excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively advocate for clients and must have reliable transportation to travel to various community-based appointments. Ultimately, the ideal candidate combines a strong educational foundation with practical experience to deliver high-quality, mission-driven care.

Hours & Schedule

Full-time therapists

• Typical schedule: Monday-Friday, with flexibility.
• Early Intervention: Children treated in the natural environment, or where they typically spend their day.
• Staff required to attend on-site meetings, as assigned.
• Bonus Program available when monthly treatment hours are exceeded.

Part-time therapists

• Typical schedule: any weekday or weekend, with flexibility preferred.
• Early Intervention: Children treated in the natural environment, or where they typically spend their day.
• Staff required to attend on-site meetings, as assigned.
• Minimum billable hours: 16 per month.

Sign-on Bonus: $2,000.00 (Full-time only)
