The Physical Therapist PRN cares for patients by evaluating, planning, implementing treatment, educating, and planning discharge to maximize function. Forney clinic north of US Hwy.

80 on FM 548, Baylor Scott & White Health offers a PRN outpatient role with growth opportunities to full-time status. The clinic emphasizes orthopedics, sports injuries, neuro issues, and balance disorders while serving the local community.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Physical Therapist license by the State of Texas.
• Outpatient - no acute care
• Growth opportunity to full-time status when available.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, treats and monitors patient. Modifies therapy program and goals.
• Performs thorough and concise clinical documentation in a timely manner. Enters charges accurately.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, coworkers, and the medical care team.
• Supervises ancillary staff, students and volunteers.
• Advances clinical skills through ongoing education and evidence-based practice.
• Conveys knowledge to develop clinical skills of colleagues and adheres to guidelines.
• Maintains awareness of system goals and aligns personal work with them.

Education

PHYSICAL THERAPIST OUTPATIENT CLINIC

Physical Therapist with Baylor Scott & White you will have the opportunity to practice in our Outpatient Clinic, and work with a Physical Therapist Assistant (when available). We specialize in orthopedic physical therapy, sports injuries, neuro , joint problems, balance disorders, and work-related injuries and more. We are looking for a Physical Therapist who enjoys the flexibility of being PRN now with the option to grow in to a full-time role if desired. Our Forney clinic is located north of US Hwy. 80 on FM 548.

• Shift/Schedule: PRN Day Shift Monday - Friday (No Weekends)
• Must have a current Physical Therapist license by the State of Texas.
• All Outpatient - no acute care
• Growth opportunity to full-time status when available

• Evaluates, treats and monitors patient. Modifies therapy program and goals.
• Performs thorough and concise clinical documentation in a timely manner. Enters charges accurately. Knows about reimbursement related to practice setting.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, coworkers, and the medical care team. Provides education to patients, family, and staff.
• Supervises ancillary staff, students and volunteers.
• Advances clinical skills through ongoing education, literature review and implementation of evidence-based practice.
• Imparts knowledge to develop the clinical skills of colleagues. Adheres to organizational, national and state regulatory guidelines.
• Maintains awareness of system goals. Aligns personal goals and work activities to uphold or impact the system goals.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION - Masters' or Bachelors plus 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification

Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
