Job summary

Merakey is hiring a full-time Partial Hospitalization Program Therapist for the Adult Behavioral Health team in Harrisburg, PA. The role focuses on delivering therapeutic services to adults with mental health disorders, leading group therapy sessions, and helping clients develop coping skills to manage their conditions.

Schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a pay rate of $21.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, social work, or related human services field.
• Two years' experience in mental health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapeutic services for mental health consumers.
• Complies with regulations and Merakey policies for clinical documentation.
• Completes timely paperwork (intake forms, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries).
• Maintains personal and professional accountability.
• Assists in program planning and service implementation.

The Therapist in our partial hospitalization program (PHP) is responsible for delivering therapeutic services to adults with mental health disorders. They facilitate group therapy sessions, and assist clients in developing coping skills and strategies to manage their conditions.
