Piedmont Community Services in Martinsville, VA seeks a Full-Time Outpatient and Assessment Services Therapist to provide outpatient therapy and complete comprehensive needs assessments for adults and/or children with mental health and/or substance use disorders. This position requires licensure eligibility or current licensure in Virginia (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT).

Weekly supervision is provided toward licensure; background checks and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for Virginia licensure (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) or licensed in VA.
• Experience with individuals with mental health or substance use disorders is preferred.

Full Time Outpatient and Assessment Services Therapist to provide Outpatient Therapy and complete Comprehensive Needs Assessments for Adults and/or Children with Mental Health and/or Substance Use Disorders. This is a multi-faceted position that requires licensure eligibility or licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in the state of Virginia. License eligible candidates must register with their respective state board and will receive weekly clinical supervision towards obtaining licensure. This position is a great clinical skill builder for recent graduates of accredited graduate schools for counseling or social work. Ideal candidates will have some experience working with individuals with mental illness (SMI, SED, At-risk) and/or substance use disorders. Salary is commensurate with appropriate education and experience as it relates to the position.
