Job Summary

The Staff Occupational Therapist performs evaluations of patients under the referral of a physician. They plan and implement specific treatment programs for individuals according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy. The therapist collaborates with the treatment team and provides supervision and direction for the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and Occupational Therapy Student (OTS) when applicable.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Certification by the National Board of Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the State of California.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification and maintenance thereof.
