Job summary

Araamu Spa is seeking a professional Spa Therapist to maintain treatment rooms, greet guests, prepare spaces, and ensure the guest experience upholds Araamu Spa standards. The ideal candidate is certified as a Spa Therapist with 2–5 years of hotel experience, strong English communication, a pleasant personality, and the ability to work under pressure and multi-task while delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities include assisting morning briefings, managing bookings, and promoting spa

Qualifications

• Certified as Spa Therapist.
• 2-5 years of experience in the same field in hotel industry.
• With good English communication skills.
• With pleasing personality and a well focused individual.
• Able to handle pressure at work and capability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness of the work place specially treatment rooms.
• To attend morning briefing on time in proper and complete uniform.
• Make sure that all allocated treatment rooms will be ready by 9:00 a.m. with proper amenities and decorations.
• Assure that all the required products for the reserved treatments should be ready as per the booking time.
• To use the Araamu Spa Standard dialogue from welcoming, assisting guest to changing room, during and after the treatment at all times.
• Ensure to ascertain if the client had undergone any previous injuries that you should be known about. (Always refer on our Health Assessment Form).
• Should be able to give an explanation as to benefits of the treatment to the customer.
• To help on the promotions of spa services being offered in a discreet manner.
• Must respect the guest’s privacy at all times.
• Escort guest always rather than pointing out directions in any areas of the spa.
• Should be able to absorb and pass official messages to colleagues’ every time.
• Make sure to serve beverage to client/s upon completion of treatment.
• Ensure to clean treatment room as soon as after each treatment done; assure that all the amenities are readily available. If you don’t have enough time get help from spa attendant.
• To remind colleagues of any deviations from normal procedures.
• Ensures that any suggestion or complaint from guest or staff should be reported to the supervisor immediately, never delay any decisions especially on guest concerns.
• Performs any additional duties as and when requested by the supervisor.
