Family & Children's Services in the OKC/Norman area seeks a licensed mental health professional to join the Mobile Response Team. This role delivers crisis-aware, community-based therapy to adults with serious mental illness, substance use, or co-occurring conditions, under clinical supervision.

This position is located in the OKC/Norman area in the Mobile Response Team program. The MRT delivers community-based crisis intervention and support, responding to individuals in behavioral health crises and connecting them to appropriate services and resources.
Under clinical supervision and within agency policy and clinical standards, therapists will engage with their multidisciplinary team to provide group and individual counseling and therapy services in a culturally sensitive way producing optimal outcome to a designated population, with a multiplicity of problems. Services include but are not limited to: assessment & diagnosis, treatment planning, individual, couple, child, family therapy, group therapy and, crisis intervention. Services are predominantly delivered to an adult population who carry a serious mental illness, substance abuse, co-occurring and/or medically co-morbid diagnosis.
This job is classified as a “safety-sensitive” position as defined by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act. Due to the “safety-sensitive” classification, an employee in this position would be subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing.
