Job summary

La Clinica de Familia (LCDF) is expanding services as a Mobile Crisis Response Team, providing assessment, diagnostic evaluation, crisis intervention, case management, and therapeutic services for individuals, families, and groups.

This role coordinates with support systems and community agencies to improve patient care, and assists in staff orientation, supervision, and program development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a behavioral health related field.
• Current New Mexico independent license (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT).
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, diagnostic evaluation, crisis intervention, and therapeutic services.
• Deliver case management and coordinate with support systems and community agencies.
• Educate staff and participate in orientation, supervision, and program development.

Job Summary:

With the expansion of LCDF services as a newly designated Certified Behavioral Health Community Center, we are creating a Mobile Crisis Response Team. This position will provide assessment, diagnostic evaluation, crisis intervention, case management, and therapeutic services for individuals, families, and groups; coordinates with and provides education to support system and community agencies in relation to patient care, assists in staff orientation and training; assists in team supervision and provides feedback to assist in planning, development, and implementation of services for their program.

Core Competencies:

• Knowledge of various modes of psychotherapy and evidence-based practices, especially crisis intervention and short-term models using individual, group, and familial approaches.
• Skill in assessment procedures, diagnostic evaluation, therapeutic treatment, and case management practices including follow-up and closure.
• Ability to establish therapeutic alliance with clients and their families.
• Ability to work effectively on a multi-disciplinary team and with the public.
• Assesses and incorporates culture into assessment and treatment processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Job Requirements:

• Master's Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a behavioral health related field.
• Current New Mexico independent license in the field of counseling, social work, psychology or marriage and family therapy(LCSW, LPCC, LMFT).
• Must be able to maintain a clean driving record, valid driver's license, and current car insurance.
• Must be able to work unconventional hours: weekends/evening/holiday
