Building Hope. Connecting Communities. Saving Lives.
CarePoint Response is a nationally recognized nonprofit and Baltimore’s only comprehensive crisis response system. Since 1992, CarePoint Response has provided timely, community-based care for individuals and families experiencing mental health and substance use challenges.
Our mission is to deliver effective behavioral health crisis services and treatment in the least restrictive environment — meeting people where they are, when they need it most.
We’re seeking a Therapist to join our Mobile Response team and provide person-centered support to individuals experiencing behavioral health or substance-use-related crises. In this role, you’ll conduct on-scene assessments, deliver crisis intervention and de-escalation, and collaborate with peer recovery specialists, nurses, and other team members to stabilize individuals in the community. You’ll help coordinate transportation, connect individuals with outpatient services, and provide short-term, evidence-based counseling to clients and their natural support systems. This position plays a key role in ensuring individuals receive timely, compassionate care during moments of high acuity, while supporting continuity of services across internal and external partners.
Make a Difference. Lead with Empathy.
This is more than a support role — it’s a chance to stand alongside individuals in their most vulnerable moments and help them find their path to recovery.
