Job summary

Provive Wellness of Scranton is hiring a pre-licensed therapist to join our outpatient team full-time. You’ll receive supervision, gain hands-on experience, and help change lives while building your career.

Requirements include a master's degree and active licensure pursuit (LPC/LMHC/LMFT/LCSW). Minimum 1 year of mental health experience preferred; training is provided to support licensure and EHR documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling or related field.
• Actively pursuing licensure (LPC/LMHC/LMFT/LCSW).
• Minimum 1 year of mental health or behavioral health experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy in outpatient settings (PHP/IOP/traditional).
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and develop person-centered treatment plans.
• Use evidence-based approaches (CBT, DBT, MI, ACT, trauma-informed care) with training available.
• Facilitate group sessions (anxiety, coping skills, relapse prevention, life skills).
• Collaborate with psychiatry, nursing, case management, and leadership.
• Participate in supervision toward licensure and professional development.
• Maintain timely documentation in the EHR (training provided).

What You’ll Do

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy in a supportive outpatient setting (PHP, IOP, and traditional outpatient).

• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and help create person-centered treatment plans.

• Use evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, MI, ACT, and trauma-informed care (training available).

• Facilitate engaging group sessions - anxiety, coping skills, relapse prevention, self-esteem, life skills, etc.

• Work closely with a friendly, multidisciplinary team (psychiatry, nursing, case management, clinical leadership).

• Participate in clinical supervision toward licensure and professional development.

• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the EHR (training provided).

What We’re Looking For

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.

• Actively working toward LPC, LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW licensure in Indiana.

• Minimum 1 year of mental health or behavioral health experience

• Strong communication skills, empathy, professionalism, and a desire to grow.

• Bonus: experience with co-occurring disorders, group counseling, or higher levels of care (PHP/IOP).
