Job summary

Provive Wellness of Scranton is actively hiring a Licensed Therapist to join our outpatient team. You will provide individual, group, and family therapy in a compassionate setting serving adults and adolescents with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders.

We value evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing) and collaborative care with a multidisciplinary team. A Master’s degree and PA license are required, with at least 1 year of experience; PHP/IOP

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
• Active PA license (LPC-MHSP, LCSW, LMFT, or similar).
• At least 1 year of experience in mental health counseling or therapy.
• Strong communicator, team player, and committed to ongoing learning.
• Bonus: experience in PHP or IOP programs and familiarity with electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy in an outpatient setting (PHP, IOP, and traditional outpatient).
• Complete thorough mental health and substance use assessments to support treatment planning.
• Utilize evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care.
• Lead psychoeducational and skills-based groups: anxiety, depression, relapse prevention, life skills, healthy coping, etc.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
• Conduct crisis intervention and risk assessment, including referrals and safety planning.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation (EHR experience preferred).

What You’ll Do:

What We’re Looking For:

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
