Mindoula Health Inc. is seeking a licensed therapist for the Med-Psych Management Program (MPMP) to deliver teletherapy and assessments remotely in the US.

You will work with an integrated care team to coordinate care for adults with complex needs using evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed approaches. You will lead risk stratification, adjust treatment plans, and ensure timely documentation.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related behavioral health field required.
  • NV DOH independent behavioral health license or eligibility (LCSW/CPC/LMFT) preferred.
  • Two+ years of direct experience working with adults in behavioral health.
  • Experience with severe mental illness.
  • Knowledge of local resources and social determinants of health; familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

As a Therapist, Med-Psych Management Program (MPMP), you will work in collaborative settings to provide biopsychosocial assessments, individual and group therapy, and work with your team to coordinate care across a range of treatment settings. You will have the ability to manage a caseload and make decisions with appropriate autonomy.

This is a 100% remote position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Core Duties:
  • Serve as therapy provider for patients assigned and deliver Evidence-Based Psychotherapy:
  • Provide high-quality individual and group teletherapy to members with Med-Psych Management Program (MPMP) and co-occurring conditions, utilizing modalities such as CBT, DBT skills, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care.
  • Lead Clinical Risk Stratification: Administer validated clinical assessments at monthly review periods to measure acuity, track progress, and dynamically adjust treatment plans and engagement frequency based on member readiness and clinical need.
  • Collaborate Within an Integrated Care Team: Serve as the clinical lead paired with a Care Team Member/Care Extender (CE), coordinating closely to address medical, behavioral, and Health-Related Social Needs (HRSN) while maintaining clear role boundaries.
  • Execute Crisis Management & Escalation: Serve as the licensed clinical point of escalation for member needs, conducting real-time risk assessments, safety planning, and crisis stabilization for high-acuity member events.
  • Maintain Timely Whole-Person Documentation: Complete detailed, high-integrity clinical documentation (DAP format) that accurately reflects behavioral health interventions, medical coordination, and social determinants of health to support bundled PMPM quality standards.
  • Drive Multimodal Member Engagement: Leverage multi-platform technology (video, secure messaging, digital wellness content) to maintain persistent, high-frequency outreach and rebuild engagement with hard-to-reach or ambivalent members.
  • Participate in Infrastructure & Panel Management: Actively engage in clinical team huddles, maintain population registry data, and track panel metrics to ensure comprehensive, wrap-around care delivery across the enrolled population.
  • Engage Caregivers & Support Systems: Partner with family members, caregivers, and community-based organizations when appropriate to build sustainable, home- and community-based support networks for the member.
  • Complete and maintain clinical documentation within 24 hours of completion of services in accordance with Medicaid standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
General Duties:
  • Deliver psychotherapeutic services to the behavioral health population using evidence-based therapy to include individual and group therapy methods to improve clinical and functional outcomes.
  • Utilize screenings including but not limited to M3, PHQ-9, GAD-7, and triage intake referrals.
  • Deliver direct patient care through patient-centered, culturally competent, measurement-based care.
  • Educate clients about available resources and community programs and collaborate with other staff to refer clients to other services when clinically indicated.
  • Develop, manage, and update treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
  • Prepare and maintain all required records, reports, paperwork, and patients’ diagnostic records, maintaining the confidentiality of patients at all times.
  • Complete and maintain all clinical notes and medical records in Employer’s EMR within twenty-four (24) hours of completion of services.
  • Submit charges for professional services daily.
  • Provide coverage for absences of colleagues as clinically appropriate.
  • Mentor and/or assist incoming therapists when applicable.
Education & Work Experience:
  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or other applicable behavioral health discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Licensure: Current Nevada Department of Health (NV DOH) independent behavioral health license. Eligible licenses include:
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
    • Clinical Professional Counselor (CPC)
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Two or more years of direct experience working with adults in the behavioral health field required.
  • Experience with severe mental illness
  • Knowledge of local resources, social determinants of health, mental health, substance use disorders, interpersonal violence, and social issues.
  • Familiarity with Medicare or Medicaid practices preferred
