Job summary

New Freedom is seeking therapists at multiple clinical levels in Phoenix, AZ to deliver individual and group behavioral health services in an Intensive Outpatient Program. Candidates may be master’s-level toward associate licensure or independently licensed, with licensure path and location eligibility noted.

Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, evidence-informed therapies, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, MFT, Psychology, or related field.
• Eligible to pursue associate-level licensure in Arizona (or already licensed).
• Minimum of two years of behavioral health experience.
• Experience providing SUD, trauma-informed, co-occurring, or re-entry services.
• Experience facilitating IOP or group-based services.
• Strong clinical, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with MS Office and EHR systems.
• Progress toward associate licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual psychotherapy and facilitate structured clinical and psychoeducational groups.
• Apply motivational interviewing, CBT, and other evidence-informed interventions.
• Support members addressing substance use, trauma, co-occurring needs, and reentry barriers.
• Monitor progress, risk, and ensure appropriate scope of practice.
• Collaborate with members, families, clinicians, and care teams.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation (within 24 hours).
• Participate in supervision, case consultations, and program development.
• Meet productivity, documentation, compliance, engagement, and quality expectations.
