Job description

The position of massage therapist or esthetician provides relaxing, soothing, and effective bodywork treatments for Members and Guests that encourage overall health and wellness.

Day to Day :

1. Conduct relaxing, soothing, safe, and beneficial bodywork treatments for Members and Guests in accordance with club standards.
2. Connect Members to other Members through ongoing contact, promoting club activities, including warm welcomes, magic moments, and fond farewells by engaging with each Member in the facility.
3. Be timely and prompt for all services.
4. Proactively seek new clients.
5. Ensure the workspace meets standards and is ready for use by Members and Guests, including maintaining equipment, cleaning the room, and having all necessary Member/Guest information available.
6. Promote facility amenities, programs, and the Club while maintaining professionalism and service standards aligned with the club's values. This includes wearing a club-approved uniform and nametag.
7. Complete daily assignments in your area to meet Club standards, ensuring orderly work areas, proper setup, and cleanliness.
8. Assist fellow Employees, Members, and Guests to ensure the delivery of the 3 steps of service proactively, participating as a team member.
9. Notify your supervisor of any Member/Guest complaints immediately and practice service recovery to resolve issues promptly.

Additional Responsibilities :

1. Perform other tasks as needed or directed, supporting the fluctuating demands of the Club’s operation.
2. Adhere to all company, club, and department policies, standards, and procedures.
3. Communicate effectively using proper grammar.
4. Work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
5. Focus on attention to detail.
6. Maintain good conduct and safe working habits, ensuring safety for yourself and others.
7. Attend daily line-up and participate as requested.
8. Wear a clean, neat uniform that complies with Invited and property standards daily.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of six months experience providing body treatments.
• Degree from an accredited school if conducting bodywork treatments.
• State certification for applicable bodywork treatments and CPR certification.
• Client information confidentiality, shared only with other MTs or the personal trainer for consultation.
• Encourage continuing education and share training information with staff.

Working Conditions :

• Maintain a clean environment by wiping oil spills, extinguishing candles promptly, and tidying rooms after treatments.
