The position of massage therapist or esthetician provides relaxing, soothing, and effective bodywork treatments for Members and Guests that encourage overall health and wellness.
Day to Day :
- Conduct relaxing, soothing, safe, and beneficial bodywork treatments for Members and Guests in accordance with club standards.
- Connect Members to other Members through ongoing contact, promoting club activities, including warm welcomes, magic moments, and fond farewells by engaging with each Member in the facility.
- Be timely and prompt for all services.
- Proactively seek new clients.
- Ensure the workspace meets standards and is ready for use by Members and Guests, including maintaining equipment, cleaning the room, and having all necessary Member/Guest information available.
- Promote facility amenities, programs, and the Club while maintaining professionalism and service standards aligned with the club's values. This includes wearing a club-approved uniform and nametag.
- Complete daily assignments in your area to meet Club standards, ensuring orderly work areas, proper setup, and cleanliness.
- Assist fellow Employees, Members, and Guests to ensure the delivery of the 3 steps of service proactively, participating as a team member.
- Notify your supervisor of any Member/Guest complaints immediately and practice service recovery to resolve issues promptly.
Additional Responsibilities :
- Perform other tasks as needed or directed, supporting the fluctuating demands of the Club’s operation.
- Adhere to all company, club, and department policies, standards, and procedures.
- Communicate effectively using proper grammar.
- Work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Focus on attention to detail.
- Maintain good conduct and safe working habits, ensuring safety for yourself and others.
- Attend daily line-up and participate as requested.
- Wear a clean, neat uniform that complies with Invited and property standards daily.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of six months experience providing body treatments.
- Degree from an accredited school if conducting bodywork treatments.
- State certification for applicable bodywork treatments and CPR certification.
- Client information confidentiality, shared only with other MTs or the personal trainer for consultation.
- Encourage continuing education and share training information with staff.
Working Conditions :
- Maintain a clean environment by wiping oil spills, extinguishing candles promptly, and tidying rooms after treatments.
