Job description

The position of massage therapist or esthetician provides relaxing, soothing, and effective bodywork treatments for Members and Guests that encourage overall health and wellness.

Day to Day :

1. Conduct relaxing, soothing, safe, and beneficial bodywork treatments for Members and Guests in accordance with club standards.
2. Connect Members to other Members through ongoing contact and promotion of club activities, including warm welcomes, magic moments, and fond farewells, by engaging with each Member in the facility.
3. Be timely and prompt for all services.
4. Proactively seek new clients.
5. Ensure the workspace follows standards and is ready for Member Guests, including maintaining and cleaning equipment, preparing the room, and having all necessary Member/Guest information available.
6. Promote facility amenities, programs, and the Club while maintaining professionalism and service standards aligned with the club's values and philosophies. This includes wearing a club-approved uniform and nametag.
7. Complete daily assignments to meet Club standards, keeping work areas orderly and organized, and maintaining cleanliness.
8. Assist fellow Employees, Members, and Guests to ensure the delivery of the 3 steps of service proactively, and participate as a team member.
9. Notify a supervisor of Member/Guest complaints immediately and practice service recovery to address any issues promptly.

• Perform additional functions as needed due to the fluctuating demands of the Club's operations, supporting team members when required.
• Adhere to all company, club, and department standards, policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Communicate effectively using proper grammar.
• Work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Focus on attention to detail.
• Maintain good conduct and safe working habits, ensuring safety for oneself and others.
• Attend daily line-up and participate as requested.
• Wear a clean, neat uniform that complies with ClubCorp and property standards daily.

WORK EXPERIENCE : Minimum of six months experience providing body treatments.

EDUCATION : Degree from an accredited school if performing bodywork treatments.

CERTIFICATION / LICENSE : State certification for applicable bodywork treatments. Certification in CPR.

SECURITY / CONFIDENTIALITY : Client information may only be shared with other MTs or with personal trainers employed at this facility for consultation purposes.

TRAINING : Therapists are encouraged to obtain continuing education credits and share training information with staff.

WORKING CONDITIONS / ENVIRONMENT : Wipe oil spills and extinguish candles promptly to ensure safety.
