Job summary

Willow Springs Center in Reno, Nevada seeks a licensed Therapist to join our outpatient team serving youth ages 6 to 17. The Therapist will perform assessments, develop treatment plans, deliver group, individual and family therapy, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team.

A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time licensed Therapists. Benefits include health/dental/vision, retirement plan, and opportunities for advanced DBT training.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or similar field.
• One year of clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting preferred.
• Licensure as LCSW, LCPC or MFT required or eligible.

Position Summary

The Therapist will provide clinical services to patients in our Outpatient Program. Therapists make assessments, create treatment plans, serve as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team and document in the patient chart interactions with patients and family as well as the patient's progress toward reaching treatment goals.

Therapists also engage in discharge planning activities. The Therapist provides group, individual and family therapy activities and collaborates with community providers, social service agencies and other therapeutic programs. Therapists are called upon to perform crisis intervention and to address hostile behaviors in accordance with facility approved interventions.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or similar field.

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health treatment setting preferred. DBT training a plus.

LICENSURE: Must possess licensure as an LCSW, LCPC or MFT. Candidate will be required to submit evidence of licensure at the time of interview.
