Penny Lane Centers is looking for a Team Based Outpatient Therapist to provide mental health services in Lancaster, California. The role involves delivering therapy in various settings and collaborating with a team to ensure clients receive comprehensive support.
The ideal candidate will hold a master's degree in a related field, be registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences or the Board of Psychology, and possess excellent communication skills. Additional perks include a sign-on bonus and medical benefits effective immediately upon hire.
Team Based Outpatient Therapists provide mental health services including individual, group and family therapy in the clinic, school and client's home. The Team Based Outpatient Therapist will be working within the context of a team to provide intensive mental health to clients referred through the Wraparound, FSP, IFCCS programs. The therapist works collaboratively with the team to assess and link the families to needed community services and coordinate all the services that the client receives. The therapist documents all service according to DMH and Penny Lane guidelines.
The TB Outpatient Therapist possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills when working with clients, outside agencies, members of the community, and co-workers. When in a client's home or school the TB Outpatient Therapist will employ a calm demeanor and good ethical and professional boundaries. Excellent clinical skills are used to assess the appropriate level of care for clients and stabilize clients in crisis. Teaming, collaborating and coordination of care with all Penny Lane staff, DCFS, DMH, and other outside agencies is crucial. This position requires flexibility, excellent time management skills and the ability to manage responsibilities efficiently with little supervision.

$77,726 - $98,616 per year
Additional $5,000 per year bilingual Spanish differential.
Issued in two installments: $2,500 upon date of hire and $2,500 upon successfully completing the six month introductory period.
Medical benefits are effective the first of the month upon hire, not to exceed 31 days.
