Job summary

The Villages of Indiana is seeking a Therapist for its Intensive Foster Care program. The role focuses on delivering client-centered counseling to children and families to increase permanency and safe environments.

Salary ranges from $60,000 to $66,500 annually, with home-based visits and on-call requirements. You will liaise with families, referring agencies, schools, and staff, assess needs, provide counseling and case management, and develop SMART plans while ensuring thorough documentation

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related field with clinical emphasis.
• Training and experience in child, adult, and family therapy/counseling.
• Licensure through Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services boards (LSW/LSCW/LMFT/LMFTA/LMHC/LMCHA).

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between families, agencies, schools, community resources and staff.
• Assess the child and/or family needs, provide counseling with Medicaid billing/documentation, and case management.
• Provide Therapeutic Supervision for visitation sessions.
• Ensure implementation of comprehensive services.
• Develop SMART treatment plans and monitor progress per service standards.
• Home-based work required.
• Thorough documentation as defined by program and service standards.
