SPHS Group in New Kensington, PA is seeking a part-time contract clinician to provide clinical assessments and outpatient psychotherapy, including individual, family, and group sessions.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in social work or psychology and eligibility for relevant credentials. Responsibilities span assessment, treatment planning, team collaboration, and meticulous record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or psychology, or a related clinical discipline with practicum.
• Ability or willingness to obtain mental health credential (MH Professional or CAC).
• Skilled in interviewing to inform recommendations.
• Ability to work with staff, providers and social service agencies.
• Must be eligible for Medicare/Medicaid participation and clearances.

Responsibilities

• Conducts assessment and diagnostic services to develop a comprehensive treatment plan and related treatment recommendations.
• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans using various modalities.
• Participates in treatment team meetings with staff at all levels.
• Initiates intra- and inter-agency contacts to facilitate patient care.
• Prepares, maintains and submits case records and required documentation.
