Job summary

Steps to Recovery Behavioral Health Bucks County is seeking an Associate Therapist to provide individual, family and group therapy within an Intensive Outpatient/Partial Hospitalization program. The role requires a master’s degree in a relevant field and licensure eligibility, with strong ethics, clinical knowledge and cultural competence.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling or psychology.
• Minimum 1 year experience with clients having primary mental health diagnoses preferred.
• Ability to document clearly and coordinate with the clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates individual, family and group therapy sessions.
• Completes notes, discharge plans and required reports on time.
• Maintains therapeutic relationships and de-escalates crises when needed.
• Coordinates care with an interdisciplinary team through admission to discharge.
• Communicates progress with families and referral partners.
• Participates in trainings and adheres to policies.
