Job summary

Heritage Behavioral Health Center in Clinton, IL is hiring a full-time Therapist to provide compassionate behavioral health services to individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders. The role focuses on individualized treatment planning, counseling, and evidence-based interventions to support recovery and improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in counseling, clinical psychology, social work, or another human service field.
• Ability to obtain LPC/LSW or CADC licensure within 2 years.
• Minimum age 21 years.
• Valid driver's license and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings and assessments to determine client needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and client goals.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling using evidence-based practices.
• Deliver therapy services that address mental health and substance use challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, person-centered care.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards.
• Participate in crisis intervention and provide support during acute episodes.
• Coordinate community resources to support recovery and wellness.
