Job summary

Cedar Crest Hospital & Residential Treatment Center seeks a licensed therapist to provide individual, group, and family therapy within a comprehensive behavioral health program serving children, adolescents and adults. The role involves assessments, treatment planning, and coordination of services in a private Central Texas campus setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or other therapeutic field is required.
• Four or more years’ experience as a therapist with two or more years’ experience with the facility population is required.
• State or national licensure for professional therapy providers required.

Responsibilities

• Apply psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions in treatment of individuals and families.
• Conduct individual, group or family therapy as appropriate for the treatment plan.
• Conduct a psychosocial assessment and develop an initial discharge plan.
• Provide initial treatment planning for patient and coordinate additional services as needed.
• Maintain documentation of therapy services and caseload as assigned.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with staff.

Skills

LMSW/LCSW/LPC/LMFT preferred

Education

Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or other therapeutic field
