Cedar Crest Hospital & Residential Treatment Center is seeking a PRN Therapist for weekend coverage. The role supports individuals and families using evidence-based therapies within a private Central Texas campus setting.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in a therapeutic field and have 4+ years of therapy experience, with 2+ years in the facility’s population. Licensure and CPR/de-escalation certifications are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a therapeutic field is required.
• Four or more years’ experience as a therapist.
• Two+ years’ experience with the facility's population preferred.

Responsabilités

• Apply psychotherapeutic techniques to individuals and families.
• Conduct individual, group or family therapy per treatment plan.
• Complete psychosocial assessment and initial discharge planning.
• Develop treatment plans and coordinate services as needed.
• Maintain therapy documentation per standards and caseload.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with staff.
• Provide services in inpatient or outpatient settings when needed.
• Assist in staff training on behavior management and crisis intervention.
• Coordinate activities with patients and families; refer as needed.
• Assist in training new clinical staff and interns.
