Job summary

Salience Health in the Dallas–Fort Worth area is seeking a full‑time Therapist to join a collaborative multi‑discipline team. The therapist will provide therapy evaluations and crisis services, utilizing evidence‑based approaches, with a focus on remission and recovery for diverse patients.

The role involves CBT sessions, crisis interventions, and coordination with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and an admin team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in clinical services such as social work, counseling, or psychology.
• Licensed or eligible for state licensure (LCSW, LPC, or LMSW).
• Experience providing diagnostic assessments and therapy to a full age range.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new patient therapy evaluations to gather information and assess mental health needs.
• Facilitate psychoeducational CBT individual sessions.
• Conduct crisis interventions: risk assessment, determine risk level, and follow-up.
• Demonstrate crisis intervention skills and suicide prevention understanding.
• Establish rapport with patients and connect with diverse backgrounds.
• Understand diagnoses and apply appropriate intervention techniques.
• Diagnose and treat mental health disorders.
• Create individualized treatment plans and meet regularly with patients.
• Maintain communication with the treatment team and involve families as appropriate.
• Refer patients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary.
• Maintain thorough records and follow safety protocols.
• Attend weekly team meetings and complete required training.
• Maintain required licensure.
