Job summary

Acenda, Inc. is seeking a licensed mental health clinician to join our Mental Health Urgent Care Walk-In Clinics. The role includes assessment, short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and rapid linkage to long-term services for adults in crisis.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based care and ensure timely access to services. Requirements include a Master’s Degree and NJ licensure (LCSW/LSW/LPC/LMFT, etc.), plus driving ability to cover clinics.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related field required.
• NJ license in good standing (LCSW/LSW/LPC/LMFT, etc.).
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, treatment and crisis intervention to individuals in crisis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure rapid access to services.
• Complete intake assessments and maintain documentation.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and care coordination.
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions.
• Uphold ethical standards and educate self on issues affecting the population.

**If you want to make a living by making a difference, join Acenda as an**Therapist## **Program Overview:**Acenda’s Mental Health Urgent Care Walk-In Clinics provide immediate, same-day access to behavioral health support for individuals experiencing emotional distress, mental health symptoms, or situational crises. Designed as an alternative to emergency room visits, our clinics offer a compassionate, safe, and stigma-free environment where individuals can receive short-term counseling, crisis intervention, psychiatric evaluation, and referral to ongoing care. We serve adults across Gloucester and Cape May County, helping to stabilize individuals and connect them to the appropriate level of support—when they need it most. Our dedicated multidisciplinary team is passionate about reducing barriers to mental health care and creating pathways to recovery and wellness in the communities we serve.**Position Summary**:The mental health clinician is part of this dynamic team providing assessment, treatment and wellness services to individuals who have mental health diagnosis. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, screen, counsel, and support individuals in crisis to receive rapid and supportive care while awaiting linkage to long term services. Utilize assessment and evidenced-based modalities to ensure the most successful outcome for the individual's needs. Ensure proper service linkage to appropriate level of care and flow upon exiting our 30-day Early Intervention Support Service.
