Job summary

Mingus Mountain Youth Treatment Center, a nonprofit residential behavioral health center in Arizona, seeks a Mental Health Therapist to apply clinical skills with adolescents.

You will develop treatment plans, maintain a caseload, lead therapy sessions, coordinate with teams, and support discharge planning in a trauma-informed setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass a thorough background check and obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Education: Master’s degree license eligible in LMFT, LPC, LCSW, Psychologist or associate licensed clinician (LAMFT, LAC, etc.).
• Licensure: Independently licensed clinician in Arizona preferred.
• Experience: At least four (4) years in behavioral health, preferably with children/adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment plans in coordination with interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain a caseload and ensure services are provided to each patient/resident.
• Prepare ISP and ensure interventions follow ISP frequency.
• Attend treatment team meetings and review ISP progress.
• Maintain regular contact with referring agencies to update resident progress.
• Prepare monthly reports and discharge summaries with updated information.
• Update diagnostic assessments per facility and agency policies.
• Conduct individual/group/family therapy sessions in a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Assist with discharge planning for seamless transitions.

Therapist Job: Mingus Mountain Youth Treatment Center is looking for Mental Health Therapist to use their behavioral health experience to make a positive difference in the lives of adolescents who need help to live their best lives.

Salary: $62,000- $67,000 per year

Shift/Hours: M-F, 8 hour, On Call

Therapist Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old.

• Update diagnostic assessments according to the facility and agency policies
• Conduct individual/group/family therapy sessions in a safe, therapeutic environment
• Assist with discharge planning to ensure a seamless transition for the patient/resident
