Job summary

Mingus Mountain Youth Treatment Center in Prescott Valley, AZ, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for on-site, full-time work. The role focuses on safe medication administration, collaborative care, and comprehensive health services for adolescents in a residential behavioral health setting.

The RN provides multi-disciplinary care, maintains medical charts, and supports trauma-informed behavioral health treatment.

Qualifications

  • Arizona RN license currently in good standing.
  • Graduate from an accredited practical/vocational nursing program.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience preferred; psychiatric/adolescent setting beneficial.
  • Must pass background check and obtain Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

  • Safely administer medications.
  • Participate as a member of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Participate in management of client’s chart and documentation.
  • Provide health services for clients.
  • Maintain an employee health service.
  • Ensure required documentation and maintenance of client medical charts.

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of practical/vocational nursing and holds a current Arizona RN Nursing license, in good standing

Mingus Mountain Youth Treatment Center (MMYTC) is a nonprofit residential behavioral health treatment center serving adolescents with serious emotional, behavioral, and substance use disorders.
